Itsup2us A message to bring us together for Namibian Independence Day

Yes, we should celebrate independence. After all, Namibian mothers and fathers had to fight for all of us to be free and equal. But equality, in many ways and for many, remains elusive, even almost 28 years later. Ees, the artist most of us know, shares with us a plea in his video above to unite for this Independence Day and work at creating equality. We find this quite moving, and wanted to share it. Our project, For Progress Namibia, has been working at encouraging everyone to take responsibility for making our country a better place for all. Enhancing respect, and trust, and a sense of community. His message is in line with this, and we support it wholeheartedly. So for this Independence Day, go out and celebrate by supporting the Namibian environment and community!
